“Six bodies in a state of alert: Elo(s) is a contemporary circus performance that, through compositions of acrobatics, juggling, and physical theatre, expresses individual effort and risk as a collective force.”

Elos is a contemporary circus performance featuring the performer-creators of Cia Vítreo, with artistic direction by Cia do Relativo. The work embraces the collective body as a means of expanding the individual self, exploring notions of effort, precision, and trust. Its physical dramaturgy emerges from the relationship between bodies and objects, drawing from disciplines such as acrobatics, object manipulation, and dance. Movement is structured through repetition, attentive listening, and the tension between individuality and the group, evoking gestures linked to industrial language and collective labor. In Elos, risk, presence, and doing with others shape the understanding that each movement is also a relationship — and that the collective is not a theme, but a form.”
